Mid Atlantic Financial, LLC is the holding company and owns 100% of its subsidiaries: Senior Settlements, LLC; Harper Financial, LLC; and Verto Capital Management, LLC.
 
In July 2005, Senior Settlements was reorganized to improve its services and to better represent its future plans and strategy. This reorganization created the current Holding Company; Mid Atlantic Financial, LLC, and converted its main divisions, such as Senior Settlements, LLC and Harper Financial, LLC into wholly owned subsidiaries. In September 2009, Verto Capital Management, LLC was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of Mid Atlantic which further allowed the Company to engage in all financial related activities, including those which have stricter regulatory standards such as private securities offerings.
 
 
Subsidiaries
 
Senior Settlements was founded in 1998. It is in the business of originating life settlements. The investors are the ultimate purchasers and owners and SSLLC earns an origination fee for its efforts. Each investor uses an independent escrow agent or verification agent to make certain that Senior Settlements complies with the underwriting requirements the investor sets forth. Currently, we do business with US Bank, Wells Fargo and Christiana Bank as Trustee and escrow agents.
 
Harper was founded in 2006 to establish itself as an insurance agency working with a select group of agents and brokers to provide insurance solutions in a financial planning capacity to wealthy individuals. The market Harper focuses on is a niche market with agents that lack a cohesive approach. Many of them lack the resources to provide a complete approach to the wealthier markets. Harper has developed a small network of financial planners and estate attorneys that enable it to deliver a complete product to its clients.
 
Verto was established in 2009 for the sole purpose of conducting private placement securities offering to accredited investors through a network of Broker dealers.
